Hilfiker Returns to ESP

Teri Hilfiker - Client Services Representative

Teri is back!

We are excited to have Teri Hilfiker back on our Team. We missed you and look forward to many wonderful years of service to credit unions!

Originally from Spokane, Teri Hilfiker has worked in the credit union industry for 20-plus years in the western United States. She eventually made her way back to Washington, starting in Las Vegas. She has served in several credit unions performing the duties of a teller, accounting, processing loans, and in the back office.

Roughly six years ago, Teri was an employee of Enhanced Software Products (ESP) with the position of Client Services Representative (CSR). She left to get back into the credit union life and seek the experience of working directly in credit unions. Her work experience has given her insight into how these financial institutions operate and how different core banking systems function.

Teri ultimately realized she wanted to return to ESP because she felt a core processor that emphasized service could truly make a difference for credit unions. She assumed her former role as a CSR and brought back a wealth of knowledge.

Teri's experience allows her to visualize an issue and find a quick solution when a client calls seeking support. She not only knows how to operate core systems but has an in-depth understanding of the motive behind the call. In one way or another, she has performed most credit union operations herself.

In addition to her CSR duties, Teri is the acting liaison between clients and ESP for the FORZA 150 Project - an initiative to maximize the screen size of ESP's core processing platform FORZA. In this capacity, she managed the communication from clients beta-testing this solution back to the Team at ESP. Client feedback is an essential part of what makes a business relationship with ESP a partnership.

Teri is a rabid Seattle Seahawks fan and shows off her pride every opportunity she gets. She is a wife and mother to three girls, two grown and one still in high school. Plus, she wrangles a "COVID dog" - a Border Collie that she adopted during the lockdown. Hopefully, the obedience training will pay off.
